What’s with the name noculture?
The idea behind noculture is that there is no single cultural frame that works everywhere. People understand messages through their own experience, language, politics, institutions, and assumptions, and good communications has to account for that.
A message that makes perfect sense in New York may land very differently in Nairobi, Geneva, or Bogotá. The same is true across audiences. A journalist, donor, policymaker, executive, and community may all need different things from the same story.
That perspective comes naturally to noculture because our work has always crossed borders, sectors, and institutions. We work with communications and public affairs professionals from different countries, cultures, and professional backgrounds, and we bring that range of experience to each assignment.
The name reflects that approach: no single culture is the default, and no single communications formula works everywhere.
